An unforgettable experience for you and your whole family. Family Sušec is the activity that takes place in canyon Sušec. Ready for creating new memories with the ones that you love the most? Let’s jump in! Soon you’ll realize why Sušec it’s also called a natural aquapark.
The famous canyon is located 30 min drive from our starting point, village of Soča. To get to the entry point we hike for 40 min. We walk on the path that was made during 1st World War. Make sure to ask your guide to tell you more about it!
Nicely warmed-up we arrive at the entry point. Here we put the equipment on and your guide tells you all that you need to know to feel safe in the canyon.
Be ready to enjoy a lot of smaller waterfalls where we slide or jump. The highest waterfall is saved for the last. This is where we use the rope. Know that Sušec is an open canyon, which means that you can skip any waterfall you want if you don’t feel ready for it. If you and your family enjoy nature like we do, try to look for some animals in the canyon, like frogs, salamanders, or fishes. And if you are lucky you can maybe even see some snakes!
After an exciting 1,5 hours we return back to our van. Look at your kids to find the sparkles in their eyes! We’re sure these moments will stay part of your conversations for a long long time!
