The Učja River, originating in Italy, has carved out 5 gorges along its course. Over time, ice, snow, and karst terrain made this part rich with natural phenomena. The Učja Valley is home to many endangered species, and its upper gorges remain untouched due to deep undercuts and siphons.

Our adventure takes place in the final gorge of the Učja River, right where the Globoški potok canyon ends. To reach the entry point, we take a 30-minute panoramic hike with stunning views of the Učja Valley.  Before entering the canyon we put the equipment on. Your guide will inform you with all the information so you’ll feel safe in the canyon! Excitement grows as we finally enter the river—can you already feel the water in your shoes?

Unlike other canyoning Slovenia tours, canyoning Učja is mostly walking on the riverbed, allowing you to fully enjoy the surroundings. Along the way, we navigate around rapids, while towering canyon walls and lush, jungle-like nature create a wild setting. The emerald pools invite us to jump in and swim alongside the fish.

We finish where the Učja River completes its 10 km journey, merging with the Soča River. Together, we drive back, replaying every unforgettable moment of this canyoning adventure in Bovec!
